4 September 2007 The Victa services have been retimed as a trial this week, with the southbound working now overnight and the northbound 4M89 now starting from Tilbury instead of Purfleet. 66412 on 4M89 Tilbury - Ditton passes through platform 2 at 4pm.

10 September 2007 87028 made a welcome return to the WCML, working as 0Z69 Wembley - Warrington to act as standby for the mail units. She was called on later in the week to rescue 1S96 when one of the 325s developed a TPWS fault. Also welcome was the reinstatement of 87022.
