Milton Keynes Area May 2008
4th May 2008

May starts where April left off - sun at the wrong times and heavy showers!

47501 plus visits to Ashton and Gordons Lodge, plus the Western on the branch. Updated for more 323s, the Northern Belle, EWS executive train and Tangmere.

A varied final week sees the closure of Bletchley depot marked with the visit of the Duchess, departure of the Heathrow Express coach from Wolverton, a 158 and 47760 - all in very mixed weather!

3 May 2008 With the WCML blockade, four engineering trains were noted around Milton Keynes. 60071 is parked south of the footbridge at Bradwell although the stream was rather wider than anticpated to get to this shot and I didn't quite manage to clear it on the way back!
