1 December 2008 60004 was parked for most of a wet Sunday near Chaffron Way but I didn't even try for a shot because of the weather. The engineering work overran considerably and she returns to Forders at Ridgmont with a very late 6R13 from Wolverton at about 1030 am on Monday morning.

5 December 2008 Although the sun didn't quite make it out for the 67, it was out for 150104 following with the 0959 Bletchley-Bedford "Express"..... may be a reference to the extra minute allowed on the new timetable despite all the track improvements??!

10 December 2008 A lunchtime visit to Bradwell hoping for the two DRS 47s returning from Wembley produced 67017 with refurbished 442402 on the 5Z70 Wolverton-Stewarts Lane.

10 December 2008 90036 is a loco I haven't managed to photograph recently spending most of its time in East Anglia. Returning from Crewe to Wembley, it was on one of the Scottish sleeper services that evening.

10 December 2008 92004 heads south at Bradwell on an unidentified train of cargowagons. Possibly the Warrington-Wembley paper train, but unconfirmed??

10 December 2008 The DRS 47s ran to a new schedule on the Wembley-Longsight ecs passing Bradwell in near darkness just before 4pm. I must admit I didn't think I had got a shot at all with the oncoming pendolino.

11 December 2008 Bletchley depot is in use once again, albeit temporary, for the commissioning and trials on the new 350/2s. 350231 is waiting to leave the depot which contained 350238/239 and at least one other.

11 December 2008 Work continues at Milton Keynes, although it is certainly not finished despite the NR publicity this weekend! 66592 passes on 4O35 to Southampton. The line in the foreground is the new up slow through platform 1 which remains unconnected.

12 December 2008 Two coaches from collision damaged 159010 stand in the frosty works yard at Wolverton with 08649 and some 442 vehicles
